High Elven Warrior Sword (Lord of the Rings) Stainless Steel Prop Replica

With a lineage of 3000 years, the Elven sword was unique in Middle-earth and represented the pinnacle of matching a weapon to the warrior who wielded it. The sword was a little more than five feet in length and had an elongated S shape. The handle was half the total length of the sword so it could be wielded with two hands, one placed behind the guard and one by the pommel. The widely spaced grip was developed by the Elves to give them maximum rotation when moving the sword through the "windmill' strike that was their own distinctive attacking style. This authentically detailed sword is a reproduction of the sword prominently featured in The Lord of the Rings films presented by New Line Cinema.

Close attention to quality is a top priority in every piece. The High Elven Warrior Sword, with an overall length of 49 3/4", features solid metal handle parts with a brass-plated Elven vine design. The 24 1/8" false-edged blade is crafted of 5/32" thick, tempered stainless steel. Each sword is presented with a silkscreen wood wall display plaque. This sword is handcrafted with a real stainless steel blade, however it is a non-functional prop replica for display only.
