The Crescent Darts were concealable throwing weapons made of Adamantium, given to the Moon Knight avatar by Khonshu.  Moon Knight was known not only for keeping these darts clipped to his belt, but to carry them hidden within the mummy-like wrapped clothes of his suit as well. 

The crescent shape of the dart is inspired by the shape of the Gibbous moon, while the visual design and Egyptian symbols are inspired by Marvel's Egyptian God of Vengeance.
